The Flushing Meadows Hotel & Bar

A "straight"-sensibility hotel/bar enterprise with splashes of gay appeal (whatever that means), including its location. Opened in 2016, the Flushing Meadows is located on the top two floors of a four-floor industrial building in the southern part of the gay-heavy Glockenbachviertel district/neighbourhood, with 11 high-ceilinged, individually designer-themed and decorated lofts on the third floor. The top tier includes five variously sized penthouse studios alongside one of the hotel's biggest draws: its rooftop bar, with views across southern Munich. There's no gym, but the hotel provides a free-of-charge Prime Time Fitness wristband that affords access to all three Prime Time Fitness studios in Munich. Not budget by any means, but not outrageously costly. Located ever so close to the Isar river, but not so near to an U-Bahn station, though Sendlinger Tor is not disastrously far off.
