You get what you pay for, and the two Micheln stars awarded to Tantris point to food that ranks among Germany's (and the world's) finest, with prices to match. In 2017 a three-course business lunch costs 100 euros. Winner of numerous awards, this place means business, with an emphasis on French classic and modern. You'll tire your eyes looking for schnitzel on the menu. Opened in 1971 by Fritz Eichbauer — with Hans Haas in charge of the kitchen since 1991 — the restaurant is now owned by Eichbauer's son Felix.
