With its tasteful decor marked by tablecloths, fresh flowers, pastel colours and wine bottles, this restaurant does not subscribe to the notion of 'ethnic and cheap'. Instead, Nam Giao offers up flavourful Vietnamese dishes in a relatively romantic and dare-I-say bourgois atmosphere, especially when compared with its rough and steamy neighbour Ja Mai around the corner. But there's a lovely and quiet local feel, and the reasonably priced food is rather good. The name refers to the former Vietnam home town of the owner.
