The 90-room 4-star Torbräu's been a privately owned hotel since the 16th century, and run by the Kirchlechner family since the early 20th century. Rooms veer from the modern to the more traditionally luxurious depending on size and price. The handsome exterior is marked by a triple-arch front entrance. To boot, it's a short walking distance from nearly 'everything', including the Glockenbachviertel. But definitely not an option for the budget-minded.
