A kitsch-heavy room decorated for fun and nostalgia with disco balls and much more, Prosecco gets buzzy when other places are thinking about winding down, with a party atmosphere driven by familiar radio oldies and, ironically or not, Schlager pop (sentiment-heavy, provincial/traditonal-sounding music to sway and get drunk to — easy listening that's not easy for all to listen to). DJs, drag bingo and karaoke all have their place here. Opened sometime in the early 1990s. Local, old-fashioned and fun. Stays open late at the weekend, until 5am or so. Closed Monday and Tuesday, and on Wednesday it plays host to DJ James's Pink Paradise club night.
