Relatively inexpensive and very central 103-room hotel opened in 2016 – the third outlet in the Cocoon family of playfully designed establishments. This hotel has twice the number of rooms as the original (and slightly more gay-friendly-located) Sendlinger Tor branch [see entry] and opts for a different but compatible style: Alpine/woodsy. No gym. There's a restaurant with soups and salads, and a terrace out back. The third outlet, Cocoon Stachus (Adolf-Kolping-Strasse 11), opened 2011/12 and is similarly close to the Hauptbahnhof. U-Bahn: Hauptbahnhof.
