Camp Munich Formerly: Fred's Pub / Camp

A sexy sex bar with a misleading name, Camp is a cosy, unfussy space marked by good old-fashioned camouflage netting, slings, glory holes and men who've either just come out of the darkroom or are on the lookout for a reason to enter it. Friday and Saturday music = "ElektroHouseMix". Located on a quiet side street just a minute or two south of the Müllerstraße, the bar was called Fred's Pub from the 1960s until 2005, when it was taken over by current owner Georg Hörmann, who transformed the space (and who also operated the saloon-like Bar Jeans, which closed in 2015). This was Munich's first bar to show porn, on a proper movie screen no less, back in the 70s. The screen has been replaced by a darkroom and Fred (surname?) — who retired long before the bar's name change — died in the early part of the 21st century. Monday = naked/underwear.
