Located at the crossroads of the Viktualienmarkt food haven and the gay Glockenbachviertel area, Alexander's resembles a sauna with its unrevealing exterior, hinting at the single-minded pleasures of the clientele within. The drinks are not the only thing paid for in this bar where young and older men meet. Every major city has one. Opened 1997. U-Bahn: Sendlinger Tor. Closed 2015.
